Adolescent Substance Abuse and Mental Health Assessment Training Workshop Adolescent Substance Abuse and Mental Health Assessment Training WorkshopA Capacity-Building Workshop for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Providers in Baltimore Friday, February 5, 2010 9:00am - 4:00pm Johns Hopkins School of Nursing 525 N. Wolfe Street, Room 009 Register online by January 27 here. There is a $15.00 registration fee for this workshop. The goal of this workshop is to strengthen provider skills in substance abuse and mental health assessments and referrals. This workshop will be co-taught by Ken Winters, PhD, an expert in adolescent substance abuse diagnosis and treatment and director of the Center for Adolescent Substance Abuse Research at the University of Minnesota; and Peter Cohen, MD, medical director for the Maryland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration.
